A Finalist
Last Friday, I was pleased to find out that my short film, Where I'm From, was selected as a finalist in the 2011 Texas Monthly Short Film Contest that's held in conjunction with the Austin Film Festival.
The theme of the contest is to make a film that depicts where you are from and presnt it in ten minutes or less.
Luckily, I made the cut.
This film was shot over a couple of days with a Canon 5D Mark II camera and just a couple of lenses.
Now, here's where you can help. If you can, go to http://www.texasmonthly.com/multimedia/filmcontest/2011/12 and vote on the film in the lower right hand corner of the frame. You'll have to register, but it only takes a second.
